the diabolical driver (dd)

i have this friend. let's call him leong. now, i havent met leong for quite some time. to be exact, i havent seen him for three months plus. so when we decided to meet up for a round of drinks, i decided, "why not?"

he picked me up about 9pm and we headed out.

did i ever mention that leong is a maniac driver?

he drives like he's the lord of the road, ruler supreme. and gawd, does he speed. it's not like he's driving a freaking ferrari or what. his car is our very own Malaysian made, kembara. i think he just wants to test the limits on how far his kembara can go. but boy, do i love to be in his car. he speeds, he cuts, he swears, he honks. he is the driver from hell.

i have had my experience riding in cars with various can't-give-a-damn drivers, but man he rules. sitting in leong's car is an experience in itself. what is so funny is he is a nice guy by nature. however in his small kembara, he emerges to a full-fledge demon, wreaking havoc and panic on the road. sometimes, i feel so sorry for his victims.

if you see a kembara with loads of cute bears (namely pooh) dangling on the windows, please stay clear. it might be leong.
