Mangoes and Dresses

quite sometime ago, i was chatting with a childhood friend online. this in turn brought back memories to my childhood era. i spent five years of my childhood life in a small town called batu pahat.

it is a tiny place where, as a kid, to amuse oneself, one have to be imaginative. i had this friend, kerk. we used to play together, always up to mischief. as we live nearby each other, our parents, who are very environmental friendly, decided to carpool. so we went to school and tuition together. we were bestfriends.

Once, upon arrival at Mrs Muthu's(our tuition teacher) house, we discovered she wasn't there. after waiting like two good angels for 20minutes we got bored. as we were witlessly bored, we found a way to entertain ourselves. we found a tall tree. after much persuasion, kerk managed to get me to climb it to pluck a few mangos. i thought, why not?

i got two mangos before it dawn to me that i have somewhat climbed into the neighbor’s lawn. don't ask me how i did it. however, did i manage to escape? almost. i got caught but the auntie was kind and found us somewhat amusing. mrs. muthu? she arrived promptly when we were gulping down the mangoes in her front porch.

moral of the story: always survey your surrounding before taking action AND never climb in a dress.
